Snow Day Chai-fused Granola Recipe

This morning Portlandians woke up to snow-covered yards and houses. This is the first snowfall of the year, and a rare event from what I hear. It's real snow, and it's sticking! Unlike my last home in NYC, streets don't get plowed before you even wake up, so driving around isn't the safest thing right away. So, I'm staying in, reading, drinking lots of coffee, and making a big batch of some homemade One Stripe infused  granola! I perfected this recently and it's great sprinkled over greek yogurt or a crunchy addition to some warm oatmeal.

Time:

1 hr 25 min

Ingredients:

1 cup rolled oats

1/8 cup maple syrup

1/8 cup coconut oil

1/8 cup Slivered almonds

1/8 cup Dark chocolate chips

1/8 cup sunflowed seeds

1/8 cup cashews

3 oz. One Stripe chai concentrate

Directions:

Set oven to 250°

Combine oats and nuts in a bowl

Combine oil, maple syrup, and chai concentrate in a separate bowl

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly

Pour everything in a thin layer onto a cookie sheet and bake in oven for 1 hr 5 min

Stir mixture around the pan every 15 minutes to cook evenly

Add in raisins and dark chocolate chunks

Yield:

2- 3 Servings

Store in a mason jar and enjoy through the week!
